Flexible Seating Arrangements

Each school year, the months of August and September tug at my heartstrings. I miss setting up my classroom, trying out new seating arrangements, creating meaningful spaces, meeting new students, etc. Yesterday, I read this inspiring article that gives teachers lots of practical and inexpensive ways to create flexible seating for their students. If I had a classroom again, I would want my classroom to look like Rebecca's. I can envision my ELA students reading and discussing books and authors in this cafe-like atmosphere.
